A superbly designed collection of thematically different islands inspired by cultural diversity and perfected by nature and technology. Setia Eco Glades is the latest incarnation of S P Setia’s unique expertise: that which combines residential luxury with eco-consciousness.
When life’s great passions are sensitivity towards nature and a desire to build excellence, the result is Setia Eco Glades. The original development site was home to an abundance of flora and fauna, the team enlisted the help of Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM), Malaysia Nature Society (MNS) and Zoo Negara to safeguard the local wildlife for relocation in the completed Setia Eco Glades.
Over 40 species of trees and seedlings have been identified for transplantation at the parks and recreation space, clubhouses, sales office, and The Bund. 72 bird species and 27 fish species have been tagged for migration, while nectar plants have also been planted to provide a rich food source for the 8 species of butterflies slated for re-introduction to the landscape. Other food plants will also be located all over the township to attract and support the migration of new wildlife species.
Setia Eco Glades’ meticulous conservation and preservation program will ensure that these creatures will survive and thrive in their brand new home, continuing their natural cycle of life.
A masterpiece of visionary planning and innovative design, the enclave of Setia Eco Glades is further elevated by its location in Malaysia’s first Intelligent City and the heart of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC). Residents in Cyberjaya can expect to live a relaxing life where outdoor activities always come hand in hand with beautiful vistas and amazing sunsets. Public facilities include sports centres, gourmet restaurants, hawker stalls, schools and universities, extreme sports facilities, spas and commercial hubs.
A joint venture between S P Setia Berhad and Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd, Setia Eco Glades sits on 268 acres of freehold land and involves a gross development value of RM3 billion. Scheduled to commence in 2012, the enclave will be a luxury gated and guarded development consisting of high-rise condos, low-rise residences, super links, semi-detached units, bungalows and commercial lots.
